  1. Day 1 Wallace Rockhole Community & Gosse Bluff Crater

    Wallace Rockhole Community & Gosse Bluff Crater

    We travel through mountain valleys to the Wallace Rockhole Aboriginal community. Here you will view rock art and experience an interpretive cultural tour, with the opportunity to purchase local art. The adventure continues on the track into the astro-geological wonder, Gosse Bluff comet crater. After lunch we traverse the Mereenie Wilderness Area before arriving at Kings Canyon Resort in the late afternoon. Have dinner in the restaurant or choose an optional ‘Sounds of Firelight’ dinner (both at own expense).   2. Day 2 Kings Canyon & Uluru Sunset

    Kings Canyon & Uluru Sunset

    We begin our day exploring majestic Kings Canyon, with a choice of activities. The energetic
    will find the hike around the Canyon rim a stunning option, offering panoramic views and in parts steep climbs. Alternatively, experience a gentler walk through the Canyon floor, amongst
    abundant bird life and ancient cycad plants. Our next stop is Uluru, enjoy a picnic lunch en
    route amidst the expansive landscape of vast salt lakes and the mesa-like formation of Mt
    Conner. After checking in to your hotel we visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, followed by
    a guided tour of the base of this unique monolith. Another true highlight is the Uluru sunset, featuring fine Australian foods and sparkling wine. (L) Accommodation: Superior – Desert Gardens Hotel Standard, First Class – Sails in the Desert
  3. Day 3 Kata Tjuta (Mount Olga) to Alice Springs

    Kata Tjuta (Mount Olga) to Alice Springs

    It’s an early departure from your hotel to enjoy the morning tranquillity and the subtle colours as
    another day dawns over the desert landscape. Your guide will take you for an informative walk around the massive domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), a site of significance to the local Anangu
    people. We return to the resort in time for lunch (own expense) and your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Alternatively you may choose to extend your stay at the Ayers Rock Resort or return to Alice Springs arriving at approximately 6.00pm.
